A good letter of recommendation is an important part of the scholarship application process. Here are a few suggestions for people in your life who could write you one:
Teacher
Employer
Mentor
Tutor
Whomever you choose to write your letter of reference should be familiar with your accomplishments and able to clearly articulate why you’re the best fit for the scholarship.
A letter of recommendation is a formal document that validates someone’s work, skills or academic performance. An honest recommendation provides W.I.S.H. with a personalized account of their experiences with you, the applicant, and allows them to give additional positive details about your performance or habits.
The person writing your Letter of Recommendation will need to submit it through this portal. The individual can come to this site on their own and submit it through the Submission tab, or the applicant can add the individual's name and email address to the form on either the Submission tab or the applicant's confirmation page for W.I.S.H. to send out an invite to complete the Letter of Recommendation to the individual.
Monies are distributed by check to the address provided after recipients have been notified.
