Thank you for your interest in being a part of our W.I.S.H. Mentorship Program!

One of our goals as the Wentworth Institute of Science and Health (W.I.S.H.) is to provide support for scientific research and discovery! We do this in multiple ways, including providing a platform through the podcast Mentor Talks: STEM Podcast for individuals in STEM to share their work, passions, and personal journeys.

Participating as a guest on the Mentor Talks: STEM podcast provides our educational partners with the opportunity to familiarize themselves with their speakers prior to engagements. Additionally, it is a prerequisite for inclusion on our regularly scheduled speaker list or serving as a mentor to one of our graduating high school seniors.

We believe that by amplifying these voices and sharing diverse perspectives, we can contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge and inspire the next generation of innovators. We aim to build a community that celebrates curiosity, encourages critical thinking, and fosters a culture of discovery, ultimately driving progress in STEM for the betterment of society.

The Process

Step 1: Fill out the speaker application, telling us about yourself, what you do, and what topics you want to talk about with us!

Step 2: We will review your submission, someone from W.I.S.H. will reach out to you about scheduling. All Podcasts are recorded ahead of time, edited, posted to the W.I.S.H. YouTube channel, and then posted across our social media @wentyscihealth.

Step 3: Have fun and talk about STEM!
